Who are we?
It all started with a parrot called Luna, who hatched in April 2018.
She was adopted by Annette, in July 2018.
She quickly became part of the family and also had her own Facebook page, which started the day she came home.
Annette had been adding a selection of videos of a Luna to TikTok over the previous couple of years, but in June 2022 , after watching lots of videos of other parrots and owners on TikTok, Annette decided that she wanted to get to know more people in the parrot community in the UK. This is when Annette decided to try and get their following numbers on TikTok up to 800 so that they could start doing live videos and producing more content for people on TikTok.
The idea was to hope that they may end up with 2000 to 3000 followers in a couple of years and they could make friends in the parrot community and have fun and learn more in doing so.
On Saturday 8 July 2022, with just over 800 followers, Annette and Luna did their very first ever live on TikTok.
It was in the very first live that the trolls appeared and it soon became apparent to Annette that the trolls were more interested in bullying and teasing her then talking about Luna and being nice.
From the very beginning Annette did not let the trolls get her down. From the very beginning she did her best to explain what PCOS is and why it is so important that people talk about it, spread the word about it, learn about it and realise what a serious condition it is.
Also during this first couple of weeks it became apparent to Annette that she was able to do stuff on TikTok, when she had not worked for the last few years due to being too ill.
Annette has wanted to work for the last few years without being well enough to do so. She has been very frustrated, as she has never been one to sit around doing nothing.
Annette loves her crafts, photography, Teddy Bear collecting and Teddy Bear making.
It is for this reason that Annette decided to go self-employed at the beginning of August 2022 and is now working from home on TikTok being a creator, as well as doing crafting videos for her Patreon followers, making and selling teddy bears and other craft products.
There is a lot more that’s going to be happening in the future and lots of ideas are coming to the front all the time.
